About the Role
The Front of House Coordinator plays a key role in bringing our events to life by keeping our FOH team running smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll take manager instructions and turn them into accurate, up-to-date rosters, help coordinate casual staff across a busy and exciting events calendar, and make sure everyone is in the right place at the right time to deliver a welcoming and seamless visitor experience.
You’ll also be the go-to for keeping things organised day-to-day—supporting FOH communications, logging incidents, assisting with basic reporting, and keeping our systems accurate and up to date. Along the way, you’ll help ensure WHS and accessibility standards are upheld, so every event is safe, inclusive, and well supported.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and update FOH rosters in the scheduling system based on instructions from the Customer Service Manager
- Maintain accurate records of staff availability, shifts, and attendance
- Support FOH staff communications and deliver briefings using prepared information
- Assist with onboarding and basic training of casual FOH staff
- Respond to operational issues during events and escalate where required
- Support accurate data entry of incidents and customer feedback into systems
- Assist with WHS compliance, emergency procedures, and safe event delivery
- Support accessible service delivery and escalate accessibility issues when required
About You
- Experience in front of house, hospitality, venue operations, or live events
- Strong customer service skills and commitment to positive audience experience
- High attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks
- Ability to work confidently with rostering or scheduling systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with casual and internal teams
- Calm, organised, and able to manage competing priorities in a live event environment
- Basic systems experience (e.g. Tessitura or similar platforms) desirable
- Understanding of WHS and accessibility principles in public venues
Requirements
- Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Working with Children Check
