Orchestra Manager
Permanent part-time (4 days per week)
As Orchestra Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of musicians, including bookings, scheduling, and ensuring smooth orchestral activities. You will work closely with the Creative Director and other artistic and production teams to manage musician welfare, budgets, and performance logistics.
We are looking for an organized, proactive, and collaborative individual with experience as an orchestral musician or manager. Strong project management, communication, and teamwork skills are essential.

The Role
In this exciting and unique position, you will:

Work closely with the Creative Director to bring our vision of Music for Everyone to life.

Oversee all aspects of musician management across all PSO performances—large and small.

Lead communications, scheduling, contracting, budgeting, and invoicing for orchestral personnel.

Manage musician selection and contracting (in collaboration with the Creative Director).

Ensure each performance is supported with the right information, at the right time.

Represent PSO in a way that builds trust, creates connection, and champions artistic excellence.

Work from our Claremont office with occasional travel across metro and regional WA.
About You

Are a former orchestral musician or have deep experience working with professional musicians.
