Melbourne Holocaust Museum seeks dynamic CEO to lead Australia's premier institution fostering tolerance, education & Holocaust remembrance
The Melbourne Holocaust Museum is Australia’s only institution solely dedicated to Holocaust education, research, and remembrance,fostering the values of tolerance, understanding, and preserving the testimonies of survivors. The award-winning museum and research centre reopened in a new five-storey building in November 2023.
The Museum CEO role is a unique opportunity to lead the Melbourne Holocaust Museum. In this role, you will provide dynamic leadership tothe organisation and lead the continued growth of the Museum as a world-class institution.
We welcome applicants with significant senior leadership experience,whether from museums, educational institutions, Holocaust centres,arts/cultural organisations, or other sectors demonstrating strong leadership and stakeholder engagement credentials. The successful candidate should possess strong business acumen and gravitas.
