Do you love sharing your passion for dance with little people?

We’re looking for enthusiastic, energetic and creative instructors to join our team at Raw Energy Dance Education (REDed)!

 

About Us

Founded in 1999 and now part of the Australian School of Performing Arts, REDed inspires thousands of children every year through fun, engaging school-based dance programs. As home of the Australian Girls Choir and REDed, ASPA is proud to be Australia’s leading performing arts organisation for young people.

 

Current Opportunities

Ongoing Classes

We are looking to fill the below classes for Term 3:

  • Waverley – Tuesdays, 7:40am-8:40am
  • Wahroonga – Tuesdays, 2:30-4:00pm
  • Vaucluse – Wednesdays, 1:00pm–2:00pm
  • Rose Bay –Thursdays, 1:00pm -2:00pm

 

Contract Work

We also have short-term curricular dance contracts available during school hours, including:

  • Randwick – Monday 4 August to Tuesday 9 September. Times vary, but all sessions take place during school hours.

 

Additional curricular contracts are also available across the Eastern Suburbs, City Centre and Inner West.

 

What we’re looking for

Successful REDed applicants will have:

  • Passion for performing arts and education
  • Experience in dance, music, performance and/or working with children. You may come from a background in dance, gymnastics, fitness, cheerleading, musical theatre, education or youth programs.
  • Experience leading groups of children (5–11 years)
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • A valid Working with Children’s Check (required)
  • Qualifications in education or the arts are a bonus but not essential.
