As Victoria’s state theatre company, we deliver an irresistible annual program of live performance and related activity at our Southbank Theatre home, and as resident theatre company at Arts Centre Melbourne. With MTC Digital Theatre, our productions can be streamed at home, around Australia.

The Position

 

Reporting to the Partnerships Manager, the Business Development Coordinator plays a key role in delivering and growing Melbourne Theatre Company’s corporate partnerships program. You’ll work closely with our Corporate Partnerships team to maintain and strengthen relationships with sponsors, corporate partners and members, while coordinating events, communications and the delivery of benefits.

 

You will be instrumental in ensuring our partners are engaged and supported, managing both the administration and the experience behind the partnerships that help bring our productions to life.

 

This is a great opportunity for an early career professional or recent graduate, looking to start their career in the arts.

 

The Person

You will have:

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently.
  • A creative and flexible approach to working in a collaborative team.
  • An interest in the performing arts and enthusiasm for Melbourne Theatre Company’s work.
  • Strong administrative and organisational capabilities, with previous CRM/database experience beneficial.
