Free jab bundle with music fest

With big crowds in close proximity, festival organisers are finding ways to ensure a COVID-safe environment.

Since the launch of #VAXTHENATION, performance organisers and artists have been encouraging Australians to get vaccinated through a variety of approaches. Recently the Savannah in the Round Festival, a country music event hosted in tropical Cairns is spearheading the initiative to partner with Queensland Health and become the first Australian music festival offering free COVID jabs.

The pop-up vaccination hub will be open for all patrons from 8:00am until 4:00pm on Friday 1 October, kickstarting the festivities with a reminder that this is all it takes to bring back live events.
