Judy Racz – Artist

Judy Racz came to Australia in 1957 as a refugee of the Hungarian Revolution. She retired from teaching mathematics and sciencer at 50 and has been painting ever since. Her work is currently showing as part of Artists Open Studios: April 30-May 1

What did you want to be when you grew up?
A physicist!!

When did you know you would work in the arts?
When I was gradually addicted to art after taking it up as a hobby 40 years ago.

How would you describe your work to a complete stranger?
Diversified in style and topics, passionate and colourful
