Youth Arts Queensland announces imminent closure

State Government cuts are forcing Queensland’s peak body for the youth arts sector to permanently close its doors.

Following major cuts to its budget late last year, Youth Arts Queensland (YAQ) will officially cease operations within a month.

The news was announced on Sunday by YAQ Acting Creative Director, Andrew Cory.
