Mandy Martin was brave on many counts. She faced a long battle with cancer with dignity, and a long career with a passion for the issues that count.
The Adelaide-born artist (1952) passed away last weekend. In a statement (12 July), Martin’s son Alexander Boynes (Artist and Curator Canberra Contemporary Art Space) described her life as ‘extremely well lived’.
