Victorians have been left reeling at the news that Premier and Minister for the Arts Ted Baillieu has resigned. While his motivation for stepping down is still yet to be determined, the arts community in the southern state is left wondering what’s next for the arts.

State Liberal Party veteran Denis Napthine will take over as Premier and will also take on the arts portfolio. According to The Australian Baillieu no longer wants to sit on the front bench.
