Positioned in Collins Square, Docklands, the artwork titled Supersonic by Sydney-based sculptor Dion Horstmans will create a canopy of steel and glass spanning approximately 80 metres.

Weighing in at 56 tonnes, the structure is expected to take three months to install but Horstmans said it will be worth the wait.
