Acting CEO announced for Arts Centre Melbourne, new Chair at Darlinghurst Theatre Company, Byron Writers Festival appoints new Artistic Director, and more.

The Board of Byron Writers Festival has announced the appointment of a new Artistic Director, Zoe Pollock, who will helm the 2022 Festival. Her appointment coincides with the departure this month of the Festival’s longest serving Director, Edwina Johnson.

‘Since taking the position in 2014 Edwina has been instrumental in making the Festival the truly world class event it is today. Her care for and nurturing of invited writers and her attention to detail, have also made Byron Writers Festival the writers’ favourite,’ said Board member Marele Day.
