Zoe West, the model who was arrested by New York police while artist Andy Golub painted her naked body in Times Square last August, has filed a civil rights lawsuit against the city asserting police acted incorrectly.

West filed the lawsuit on Tuesday in Manhattan’s federal court alleging her human rights were violated. She seeks unspecified compensatory and punitive damages for false arrest and municipal liability.
