The National Gallery of Victoria launched new couture acquisitions at a gala on Tuesday night in addition to its new funding program backed by Bulgari.

Couture jewellery design house Bulgari will finance the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV)’s purchase of rare fashion pieces designed by leading international fashion houses between 1950 and 2000. Bulgari began contributing to the NGV’s Fashion and Textile collection in 2011, and have since maintained a collaborative relationship with the gallery.
