Orchestras have long embraced the soundtracks from films with scores including Howard Shore’s Lord of the Rings and John Williams’ Star Wars providing orchestras with some of their most successful concerts.

Now Queensland Symphony Orchestra(QSO) is paying tribute to the music from video games, recognising the integral role it plays in gamers’ experience, emotions and involvement in the game.
