These days, if you’re going to host an event in Tasmania you’re going to want to include the state’s most celebrated cultural institution. Yes, we’re talking about the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA), who once again are throwing open their doors to visitors from around the state, the country and the globe.

Hobart Baroque Festival Director Leo Schofield believes that cultural activities drive visitation, and he admits the MONA has ‘prodded about a million people’ down to Tasmania, so it only stands to reason that he’d want them involved.
