Acclaimed actor Mitchell Butel will step into the role of Luther Billis in Opera Australia’s Adelaide and Perth seasons of South Pacific. Butel has a long history with Opera Australia and is best known for his roles in The Venetian Twins and Avenue O, for which he received Helpmann Awards.
The multiple Tony Award winning production of Roger and Hammerstein’s South Pacific is currently wrapping up its return season at the Sydney Opera House.
