After just one edition managed by Art Fairs Australia, Melbourne Art Foundation has reclaimed commercial delivery of the Melbourne Art Fair.

Source 2014 Melbourne Art Fair

Melbourne Art Foundation (MAF) handed the Fair over to Art Fairs Australia (AFA) in early 2013 appointing the professional art fair ​management team to present the 2014 event.

At the time it was thought the move would streamline management, with competition between the rotating Fairs between Australia’s two-big art cities diffused with the establishment of the new Sydney event.
