Government grants boost Junction Arts Festival

The Junction Arts Festival looks set to boost Tasmania as a cultural destination, with government funding helping to drive its long-term vision.

Junction Arts Festival is an annual multi-arts festival held in Launceston and its long-term vision to drive cultural innovation in the city and Northern Tasmania has been boosted by $290,000 in state and federal government funding.

The festival has received $200,000 from Events Tasmania, as well as securing an additional $90,000 in funds from the Government of Tasmania through Arts Tasmania, and the Commonwealth Office of the Arts through Festivals Australia and the Regional.
