Aboriginal art is an important focus within the Australian art landscape. As the oldest ongoing visual art tradition in the modern world, the quality and richness of Indigenous art produced today reflects the connections between people and country, reality and the surreal.

A forum being held at Sydney’s 2013 Art Month in March hopes to debunk some of the myths and identify things to keep in mind when purchasing Aboriginal art.
