Most arts organisations rely heavily on donations, so every little bit helps. Your tax refund comes after the end of financial year campaigns run by most non-profits and charities in June, but why not donate now anyway? If the organisation you’re donating to has deductible gift recipient (DGR) status, then your donation now becomes another refund claim come tax time next year – just remember to keep the receipt!
