Queensland’s Palaszczuk Government continues to undo the damage wreaked upon the arts sector by the former Newman Government with the announcement yesterday of increased core funding for the small to medium sector through the $30.55 million Organisations Fund.

Richard Watts is ArtsHub's National Performing Arts Editor; he also presents the weekly program SmartArts on Three Triple R FM, and serves as the Chair of La Mama Theatre's volunteer Committee of Management.
