Dr Wendy Were has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the West Australian Music Industry Association Inc.
WAM is the peak body for contemporary music in Western Australia, a non-profit membership based association with the mission of developing the state’s contemporary music industry. WAM presents events such as the WAMi Festival, the Song of the Year competition, educational and training opportunities through WAM Workshops, and works with communities throughout the state on a range of diverse projects.
