Biennale of Sydney has a new Board Director

Richard Frolich has been announced as the newest Board Director of the Biennale of Sydney.

Earlier this week, Chairman of the Biennale of Sydney, Luca Belgiorno-Nettis announced the appointment of Richard Frolich as their newest Board Director, “A dedicated and widely respected patron of Australian contemporary visual art, with a strategy marketing background, Richard will be a valuable asset to the Biennale of Sydney.”

Richard Frolich is an Adelaide company director and accomplished businessman with more than 35 years experience. As an enthusiastic supporter of the visual arts for 30 years, Frolich founded the Contemporary Collectors benefaction group of the Art Gallery of South Australia, was a Board Member and treasurer of the Melbourne Art Foundation and a key driver and supporter of the Australian Visual Arts Awards. He is a patron of the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, the Art Gallery of South Australia and several other organisations in theatre and the visual arts. He is also a member of the Venice’s Commissioner’s Council 2013.
