Arts orgs disappointed as funding reality sinks in

A lack of indexation coupled with static funding for another four years has distressed some Victorian organisations. Others are celebrating.

Numerous Victorian arts organisations are looking at having to budget for a nine year period without any increase in core funding, following the results of the latest Creative Victoria multi-year investment program. 

Organisations which had previously received funding for the four years from 2017-2020 (extended into 2021 in light of the additional pressures caused by COVID-19) recently learned the results of their application to the Creative Enterprises Program for the period 2022-2025.
