Make a Mark: Women in the Arts forms part of the ‘Hear’ theme of Art Month Sydney, but also coincides with International Women’s Day. International Women’s Day is a global day for celebrating the achievements of women from all backgrounds, in all walks of life. This event will be held on 9 March, a day after the main International Women’s Day celebrations.
The event will focus on the highlights of a few high profile women in art today. Hosted by Radio National’s Janne Ryan, the panel discussion will also feature contributions from Lisa Havilah, Deborah Kelly and Roslyn Oxley, among others, which ensures a cross-section of perspectives from the arts world.
