Adelaide Cabaret Festival snags Ruby Award

World's largest Cabaret Festival honoured.

The world’s largest Cabaret Festival has won the Ruby Award for Sustained Contribution by an Organisation or Group.

The awards were introduced in 2006 by the Government of South Australia and presented by Arts SA last Friday at the Dunstan Playhouse at the Adelaide Festival Centre.

Started in 2001 by Founding Director Julia Holt, the Festival has played host to everyone from international icon Molly Ringwald to homegrown hero Tim Minchin.
