A former Collingwood TAFE college looks set to become Melbourne’s next arts precinct under current plans being developed by Arts Victoria.

The 8,700m2 (approximately 0.87 hectare) site at 35 Johnston Street, Collingwood, previously occupied by the Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE (NMIT), was vacated in 2004/2005 in a staged withdrawal.
