When teenage Kiwi songstress Lorde was asked to replace Frank Ocean on the Splendour lineup, she got the break of a lifetime.

Many punters were severely disappointed when Frank Ocean announced his withdrawal from the festival due to a small tear in his vocal chords, but organisers acted quickly, adding Lorde to the Supertop stage in the afternoon and bumping up the other acts by an hour, with Monsters and Men taking over the headline spot.
