For many independent choreographers, the life of a dance work can be frustratingly short: a handful of performances in one city, followed by an uncertain future.
The inaugural 2026 program will take four independent choreographers and their works on a fully supported multi-city tour across October and November, creating opportunities for works to reach audiences well beyond their original presentation.
Alannah Sue (she/her) is a journalist, writer and theatre critic with a passion for arts and culture and all that glitters. She joined the Creative Hubs Group team as Senior Arts & Screen Journalist after relocating to Melbourne in 2025. She previously served as Arts & Culture Editor at Time Out Sydney and contributes to various publications.
