The notion of interdisciplinary practice is not a sexy term. ‘I don’t know anyone who uses it as marketing jargon,’ quipped curator Bec Dean at the recent Museums Australia Conferences.
That difficulty prompted her to ask, ‘How are audiences engaging with this practice, where are they engaging, and how is the interdisciplinary finding its way into arts education?’
