Every arts organisation needs a great marketing strategy. Luckily there are many resources out there to help you get started on the basics. A marketing strategy is there to support where an organisation wants to go (its goals) and to help it connect with people interested and supportive of an organisation (its audiences). Your marketing will impact on who knows you and how they feel about you, and be a factor in deciding what you do and how you do it. But much of the process of developing a marketing plan also requires an organisation to focus very carefully and honestly on who it is and will ultimate involve everyone in the organisation. ie. who you are inside and out.
