A year ago an ArtsHub special investigation showed the massive impact of  the Queensland  Newman government’s funding cuts specifically targeted at smaller arts organisations. While major institutions were protected, the youth arts sector in particular was hit hard. A number of organisations were defunded, while others had their funding decreased significantly.
