Darwin-born, and Director of the globally celebrated Hirshhorn Museum, Dr Melissa Chiu talks about diversity, cultural diplomacy, and seeking out challenges.

It is equally unsurprising that the inaugural address has been delivered by Darwin-born, expatriate Australian Dr Melissa Chiu, who has a lot in common with Churcher when it comes to trailblazing career paths.
‘It is not easy to do something that hasn’t been done before. It requires patience, but also …you talk about “influence management”, and bringing people along with change takes time.’
