Asking designers to set out of their comfort zone to question change. Theme design by Tyra Von Zweigbergk.
International Design Day celebrates the founding of the International Council of Design (ICoD), an organisation that has come to be the world’s largest representative of professional designer entities across some 48 countries.
The theme for 2022 is ‘Suspended in Transition’. The Council explains that it ‘asks designers to step out of their comfort zone, to accept moments of partial-knowing, not-defining, and not designing-yet, to reflect from a place of discomfort and flux at the same time.’
