2012: The year in the arts

The arts sector spent a good part of 2012 waiting. We were promised a National Cultural Policy (NCP) in 2012 but as the year rolled on anticipating the Federal Government’s final outcome began to feel like waiting for Godot. It’s now three years since the consultation for the Policy began and, with their submissions growing stale, arts organisations are frustrated.
