The Queen’s Birthday 2022 Honours List recognises 992 Australians (198 fewer than last year). Within that, there were 669 people acknowledged in the General Division (aka your OAM, AO, AC etc), with the balance awarded to Military and as Meritorious awards.
This year, we have also included ‘Heritage, History and Architecture’ in our summary, given the large number of small community history and heritage advocates – many involved with volunteer regional museums, which play a significant role in cultural experiences.
