With a background in teaching, Adele Walsh managed to turn a passion for youth literature into a full-time gig as Program Coordinator for the Centre for Youth Literature at the State Library of Victoria.

How did you get your job?
I studied Education at university (with a Masters of Business segue in 2003 which made no sense at the time) and taught in regional SA and Victoria.  I’ve always been a book worm and while teaching in small country towns I was reading a lot of my students books in the hopes of better connecting with them.
