Catherine Polcz has been Science Program Producer at the Museum of Applied Arts and Science (MAAS) – more specifically, Powerhouse Museum and Sydney Observatory – since 2018, but started programming with the institution as early as 2015.
Prior to that, she was Founder of the New Nature Lecture Series for Redpath Museum, McGill University (Montreal Canada), an interdisciplinary lecture series that examines concepts of nature in contemporary culture. The series seeks to create critical discussions of nature in history, art, and science while providing a platform for emerging artists and scientists to discuss their work
