While the waters have subsided and the news headlines have shifted elsewhere, mopping up the damage hasn’t come to an end, for the many who were impacted by the floods.
Reports from Lismore today are that much of the city remains boarded up from business, and the quagmire of insurance has become a reality of daily phone calls and paper trails.
