If a position asks applicants to address a series of selection criteria then it is essential that you do. Applications that don’t submit responses to selection criteria are likely to be eliminated in the first round of culling.

The number of criteria will vary however, they commonly cover areas of communication, organizational skills, flexibility, computer skills and understanding of policies of importance in the work place. Answers should be around a paragraph or four to five sentences for each criteria.
