Professional Development Presenters
We’re calling on experienced and enthusiastic music teachers to join our team of Professional Development Presenters.
Musica Viva Australia is seeking passionate and experienced music educators in the ACT, NT, and TAS to join our team of Professional Development (PD) Presenters. This is your chance to inspire and empower primary school teachers through dynamic, creative, and curriculum-aligned PD sessions—both in-person and online.
As a PD Presenter, you will work closely with our PD Manager to co-create content that aligns with state curriculum requirements and Musica Viva’s educational vision. You’ll play a key role in inspiring teachers to explore music education in new and creative ways, ultimately enhancing students’ musical experiences in the classroom.
To be successful in this role, you will hold a Bachelor of Music Education or a Bachelor of Education with strong music expertise, and have at least five years of experience teaching in primary school settings. You will also have experience delivering training or mentoring to adults, including online facilitation, and possess strong written communication skills. A solid understanding of the Musica Viva In Schools program and your state’s music curriculum is essential. Qualifications in Orff Schulwerk or Kodály pedagogy are desirable but not required.
