Production Co-ordinator

CDP Theatre Producers, one of Australia’s leading touring theatre companies, are looking for a full time Production Coordinator, based in our Sydney office.
The Production Coordinator will work closely with the Company Directors and Producers. The ideal candidate will be a talented administrator and communicator with excellent written, verbal & interpersonal skills and outstanding attention to detail.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Liaising with producers on the day to day running of the tours
- Travel booking & Touring Logistics, including assisting producers with the management of travel budgets
- Troubleshooting travel and logistics issues, which may involve some work outside office hours
- Overseeing the inventory system and touring applications
- Assisting with Personnel and Venue Contracting
- Assisting with Casting and audition administration
- Liaising with clients, creatives, touring teams, suppliers, stakeholders
- Other tasks as required
Must have:
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and excellent phone and written manner
- Demonstrate initiative andability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Be highly organised, detail focused and able to prioritise
- Be able to work witha team
- The ability to be calm & focused in a changing environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe suites
- Drivers Licence
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Production Management / itinerary software (Master Tour or other)
Tasks Include:
- Travelbooking & Touring Logistics – working with Producers to budget & timelines, and with travel agents and accommodation providers
- Creating & Managing tour schedules (knowledge of the Master Tour app would be advantageous)
- Tour support – booking appointments for physio etc, altering travel places when needed
- Touring Wellness Program- supporting the delivery of and working with touring psychologist to schedule sessions and deliver materials
- Supporting Producers with Tour development and itinerary maintenance
- Assisting with Contracting– presenting partners, artists & crew
- Assisting with Casting – reading briefs, gathering lists, scheduling and liaising with director and agents/freelancers
- Liaison with clients, creatives, touring teams & suppliers
- Rehearsal venue booking
- Collaborating with the Administration Coordinator on office management tasks as required
- Other tasks as required
