This role works under limited direction to support the artistic vision & initiatives of AGSA and project manage aspects of the Tarnanthi Festival.

 Role Details

Tarnanthi is Australia’s leading contemporary Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art festival, celebrating the strength, creativity and cultural leadership of First Nations artists from across the country.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Producer to help shape and deliver Tarnanthi’s vision. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside artists, communities, cultural leaders and partners to create a festival that honours First Nations voices, stories and creative practice.

As Producer, Tarnanthi, you will play a key leadership role in bringing the festival to life, supporting meaningful engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists and communities while ensuring the successful delivery of a major cultural event with national significance.

 Special Conditions

·         The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department’s Performance Management Program.

·         The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.

·         Some work outside of normal hours will be required.

·         Some interstate travel involving overnight absences will be required.

·         This role requires a working with children check.

·         This role requires a National Criminal History check.

Salary Range $112,163 – $121,246 p.a.
