In 2019, WSU launched the Western Sydney Creative Decadal Strategy, establishing a new and exciting opportunity for the arts and culture of our region. The strategy outlines the University’s long-term commitment to the arts and cultural sector, including championing, celebrating, and investing in the local to assist in the growth and maturation of the region’s arts and cultural landscape.

The 2020 – 2025 Indigenous Strategy seeks to position WSU as a university that serves and empowers our community as an anchor institution to the region, while being recognised as a national leader in Indigenous education, employment and research.  A key part of this strategy commits the University to establishing a landmark building that celebrates Indigenous people, history, culture and knowledge.
