For more than 60 years, The Australian Ballet School has nurtured hundreds of aspiring dancers, transforming them into professional artists of the highest calibre. Under the visionary leadership of Artistic Director Megan Connelly and Executive Director Sarah Hunt, The Australian Ballet School is looking forward to an exciting new chapter.

Funding support from individual donors, trusts/foundations and corporate partners is critical to the continued success of the School. The leadership team and Board now seek a new Head of Development who will lead all aspects of The Australian Ballet School’s Development functions to secure significant financial resources for its education and supporting programs. 

The successful candidate will bring demonstrable experience in a similar role, ideally gained in education and / or the arts, with a track record of fundraising success across the full suite of fundraising programs. Superior stakeholder management skills with the ability to cultivate and steward major donors will be critical.
