The Board of Directors are seeking applications for the next Gallery Director of Ngununggula, Southern Highlands Regional Gallery.

About the RoleIn this dynamic and rewarding position, you will:

  • Provide strategic and creative leadership aligned with the gallery’s vision and Board direction
  • Lead the gallery’s operations and financial management with professionalism and strategic oversight
  • Inspire and manage a dedicated team, fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture
  • Develop and deliver innovative exhibitions, educational programs, and cultural events
  • Cultivate partnerships, funding opportunities, and donor relationships
  • Champion the gallery’s presence regionally and nationally through media, marketing, and public engagement.

What We’re Looking For

  • Tertiary qualifications in arts, management, or a related field with strong industry experience
  • A deep understanding of gallery operations, contemporary arts practice, and programming
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
  • Proven success in stakeholder and partnership engagement, fundraising, and strategic planning
  • Exceptional communication skills and a passion for community connection through the arts
