Your role
Reporting to the CEO, this role is the cornerstone to delivering optimal alignment of key strategic objectives and corporate priorities of Creative Australia.

Who we’re looking for
You are deeply skilled in business administration with a background in managing resources for board secretariat services and strategic executive support. Your written and verbal communication skills are highly developed, and you understand the nuances of navigating complexity and ensuring effective governance processes. You are adept at prioritising competing demands from multiple high-level decision-makers across the organisation. Ideally, you will possess a keen understanding of Australia’s cultural and creative industries.
What you’ll do
- Schedule, organise and prioritise the operations and secretariat services of the Australia Council Board of Creative Australia, Councils (as required) and the Executive Leadership Team
- Apply strategic insights acquired from supporting Board and Executive meetings to assist the CEO in determining the optimal alignment across agendas to meet organisational priorities and objectives
- Draft briefs, reports, communications and correspondence on behalf of the CEO for diverse audiences, ensuring the CEO’s voice resonates with impact
- Provide direct support and advice to the CEO in relation to organisational issues, initiatives, and proposals, ensuring impetus of action registers, meeting outcomes and defined projects is maintained.
