Events Support Officer (First Peoples Identified role)

We are seeking an Events Officer Casual – First Peoples Identified to assist in the delivery of Merri-bek’s diverse and dynamic festival program.

We are currently seeking an Events Officer Casual – First Peoples Identified to assist in the delivery of Merri-bek’s diverse and dynamic festival program.  This has been identified to increase First Peoples event delivery support across the festivals program at Merri-bek.  You will be part of a small team of casual staff that assist with the delivery of the program by working on the ground at events in a variety of roles including stage management, artist liaison and front of house. You will also have opportunities to assist with general administrative duties such as contracting, data management, scheduling and marketing.

Reporting to the Executive Producer, Festivals, you will work across the festival program, which includes iconic events such as Brunswick Music Festival, Sydney Road Street Party and Coburg Night Market as well as more community-focused events in Fawkner and Glenroy.
