Emerging Artists Program Coordinator

We’re looking for a proactive and highly organised Program Coordinator to support the delivery of our inspiring Emerging Artists programs.
MVA is one of the leading providers of music education in Australia. Proudly bringing music to schools for more than 40 years, helping shape the lives of generations of Australian children and reaching close to 300,000 students annually. Dynamic performances by culturally-diverse ensembles are complemented by comprehensive lesson plans, interactive content, and professional development for teachers, building the capacity of schools to inspire, teach, and instill a love of music.
We’re seeking a proactive and organised Program Coordinator to help deliver our inspiring Emerging Artists programs — including Masterclasses, FutureMakers, and Strike A Chord, and the Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition.
This role is ideal for someone who is friendly, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting young musicians. Experience in arts administration or event coordination is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate schedules, bookings, and logistics for national events

Liaise with artists, partners, and internal teams

Manage program databases, invoices, and reporting

Provide frontline support for program enquiries

Assist with event delivery across Australia
